How Our Network Works for First-Time Callers

A friendly pest control provider inspecting the exterior of a brick ranch home in Gretna

Who You Talk To

You will speak with an independent provider in our network, not with Tedanswer Pest Control staff doing the work. Each provider runs its own business. It sets its own prices, hours and methods. Tedanswer Pest Control routes the call. That is where our part ends.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a short, practical conversation. The provider will likely ask:

  • What pest or animal you have seen, and where
  • How long it has been going on
  • Whether you own the home
  • Your address, to confirm the provider serves your area

Be specific. Mention droppings, noises, wood damage, bites or winged insects. Details help the provider judge whether to send someone out for an inspection.

Request a callback to check provider availability. Hours vary by provider, and some can respond quickly.

What to Ask a Provider

If you have never hired pest help, use this list:

  • Is the inspection part of the quote, or priced separately?
  • What exactly is being treated, and with what type of product?
  • Is it safe for children and pets, and what should we do during treatment?
  • How many visits are expected?
  • What happens if the problem returns?
  • Can I have the quote in writing?

For rodents and wildlife, add one more: how will entry points be sealed? Removal without sealing often fails. For termites, ask what the plan covers after treatment and for how long.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can say no. You can ask for a second opinion. You can wait for a written quote and read it first. Take your time with it.

Typical U.S. costs vary widely by pest, home size and severity. A written quote is the only reliable number.
